Justin and Pat Peters are a mother-and-son team who have sold antiques and provided professional estate sale services to the Wiregrass area for more than 30 years. Justin and Pat’s partnership began early, selling their farm’s produce at a roadside stand. When Justin learned he could dig up old coke bottles to sell - and then realized the older ones brought more money - a lifelong passion for sourcing and selling antiques was born.

 

Although Justin earned a degree in Chemistry and Biology, his love for antiques ultimately led him back into business with his beloved mom. Together, they operated several successful booths in antique malls before launching the area’s first eBay store, which grew into a large antique store and auction house. Justin’s natural eye for design, combined with both his and Pat’s creativity, became a defining element of their success - evident in their beautifully styled displays and thoughtfully curated, creative place settings that inspired customers and designers alike. After regrouping during the 2009 economic downturn, increasing demand inspired them to create an estate sale business, Wiregrass Estate Sales.

 

The business has been both highly successful and deeply rewarding, allowing them to combine their strengths while helping families downsize and settle estates with care and professionalism. With more than 400 successful estate sales hosted, Wiregrass Estate Sales has grown almost entirely through word of mouth.

In 2015, they introduced the concept of an “estate sale store” in Dothan, offering weekday shopping and convenient consignment options. An upgrade in 2017 to a historic downtown Enterprise building allowed them to expand into a full antique store featuring thousands of rotating, discounted consignments - quickly becoming a favorite destination for shoppers, decorators, collectors, and resellers.

Don Hall joined the team in 2018, bringing additional strengths in design, merchandising, and visual storytelling. His creative talents further elevated the store’s displays, layering depth, balance, and artistry into every vignette and table setting, and enhancing the immersive shopping experience the estate sale store is known for.

 

In 2026, Wiregrass Estate Sales enters an exciting new chapter with a move to downtown New Brockton. Their new location - an even more impressive historic building - will allow for continued growth while honoring the character, charm, and history that define their business.
