Wiregrass Estate Sales and Patina Antiques-Vintage-Home is proudly owned and operated by mother and son team of Justin and Patricia Peters. Justin and Pat both have been "junquers" all of their lives! Their dream came true in February of 2007 when they opened a tiny little shop on Brannon Stand Road in Dothan. They quickly grew to a larger shop about 1 mile down the road called Arbor Antiques. After two successful years, they were forced to close the doors due to the unstable economy and the growth of the estate sale side of the business (which left little time for the shop). They continued to have booths in antique malls for several years.
In December 2012, Justin & Pat opened PATINA Antiques-Vintage-Home on Westgate Parkway in Dothan next to Sweet N' Sassy. Three years later, they relocated nearby to a larger building in Fountain Plaza on the Ross Clark Circle and opened WIREGRASS ESTATE SALE STORE. The store flourished as it provided a new option for families that weren't interested in hosting an estate sale in their home. Entire estates could be consigned to the store, as well as individual items. This also allowed their large following of estate sale customers a way to shop during the week in a retail store setting.
In October 2017, the building was unexpectedly sold & no longer available for lease. After much deliberation and research, they decided to move the business to bustling historic Downtown Enterprise, purchasing a fantastic 100 year old renovated brick warehouse a block away from the Boll Weevil Monument on Easy Street. The doors were opened for business with a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 1, 2017 by the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce. The store is now open Tuesday through Saturday.
